Mrs. Lillian Johannsen, 59, of 25 S. Helmer Ave, president
of the North Hudson Woodcraft Corp., one of Dolgeville's largest industries, died Saturday in her home.

She had assumed presidency of the company after her husband, Claude died in 1953. The couple had come to Dolgeville in 1944 and purchased the company, then known as the Breckwoldt Manufacturing Corp. About 200 people are employed by the firm, making piano hammers and sounding boards.

Mrs. Johannsen was a member of the National Piano Manufacturers Association and an attendant of the Episcopal Church.

She was born in West New York, N.J. and was married to Claude Johannsen in 1925. She leaves two daughters, Mrs William Slifka of Boonville, and Mrs. Frederick Wein of Dolgeville; two sisters, Mrs. Stanley Aragona of Tenafly, N.J. , and Mrs. Louise Lissner of West New York, N.J.

The funeral will be Wednesday morning at the convenience of the family from the Neilsen Funeral Home, Dolgeville.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.
