Funeral services for Joy Lynn (Wilmeth) Corman, 58, of Elkhart are scheduled for 2 pm on Monday, July 3, 2017, at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Billy Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Creek Cemetery near Austonio, Texas.
Joy passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
Joy was born on July 16, 1958, in Houston County, Texas to Tom and Eva Lively Wilmeth. She had lived in Anderson County for 45 years and had worked for Kim’s Convenience Stores. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Mary Castro, Sherry Boone, and Carolyn Stubblefield.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Johnson and husband Tobey; brothers, Bobby Wilmeth and Gene Wilmeth; sisters, Rita Salmon, Nancy Latham, and Linda Poole; grandchildren, Tristen Corman and wife Jessica and Raeley Johnson; and great grandson, Joshua Haddock.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 1 pm to 2 pm prior to the funeral service at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home. www.herringtonfuneral.com
