Clifford Lee, Bryant, Sr., age 94, of Newport, passed away on July 1, 2017 at his home. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army during WWII and the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hattie Bryant; brother, Billy Bryant; and step son, Leroy Webb.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 47 years, Mozell Bryant of Newport; son, Clifford Lee Bryant, Jr. (Sharon), of Stanley, NC; grandchildren, Tonia LaForce and Jason Bryant; stepdaughters, Katie Ellison (Forest) and Judy Hurley; great-grandchildren, and step-grandchildren; also other family and friends.
Burial will be held 2:00 pm Monday, July 3, 3017 in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Rev. Junior Gardner officiating.
