Allen B. Hays, 85, of 10106 Hillcrest, died Monday at the home. He was born in Iola, Kas., and had lived here 52 years. Mr. Hays was a car salesman before he retired 20 years ago. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary A. Hays of the home; a son, Barney Hays, Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Laura Whittington, Torrance, Calif.; a stepson, John Hodge, 11221 McGee Drive; a brother, Claude Hays, Hawthorne, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Lethia Johnson, Buena Park, Calif. and Mrs. Winnie Barnhart, Santa Rosa, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the George Grandview chapel; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel.
