Bernard LeClaire, age 76, of Gladstone and Rock, passed away Friday evening September 19, 2008, at his residence in Gladstone following a lengthy illness with cancer. Funeral mass to be held at All Saints Catholic Church, Gladstone. Entombment at Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells. Bernard was born August 20, 1932 in Escanaba the son of Ada and Dona (Belanger) LeClaire. He was raised in Rock and graduated from the Rock High School in 1950. He attended General Motors Institute in Flint, MI. Bernard worked as a Tool & Die Maker for General Motors, retiring in 1984 with 30 years of service. Bernard is survived by his wife, Barbara. Daughter, Janet LeClaire of Gladstone. Brothers, Lionel (Brenda) of Lapeer, Gerald (Leta) of Rock. Sisters, Mary Sevo of Burton, Eunice (Kelly) Elledge of Rock. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
