Guy Reinhardt, 74, of Rt. 3, Hickory, died Sunday at 4:15 p.m. in a Hickory hospital. He had been in declining health three years.

He was born Nov. 31, 1898 in Catawba County to the late C.S. Reinhardt and Ella Huffman Reinhardt. His wife, Sudie Bollinger Reinhardt, died in 1951. He was a retired textile employee of United Merchants.

Funeral services were conducted today at 11 A.M. in the chapel of Hickory Funeral Home by the Rev. Earl Wilcox. Burial was in Bethel United Church of Christ cemetery on Rt. 1, Hickory.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. A.R. (Colleen) Duncan of Hickory and Mrs. Gil Adams, (Dorothy) Adams of Rt. 3, Hickory; four sisters, Mrs. W.P. Pope, Mrs. L.M. Simpson, and Mrs. Harley Eckard, all of Hickory, and Mrs. C.S. Deaton of Gastonia; six brothers, Joe, Lester and Leonard Reinhardt all of Hickory; Fred Reinhardt of Taylorsville, C.G. Reinhardt of Millers Creek and Paul Reinhardt of Brookford; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
