Elizabeth Ann Yoder Pitts, 44, of Hildebran, died Sunday at her residence following a lengthy illness.
Born Nov. 26, 1945, in Catawba County, she was a daughter of Sallie Elizabeth VanHorn Yoder and the late Randall Preston Yoder.
She was a controller for Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan and was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Sue Lewis.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Jimmy Wayne Pitts; a daughter, Emily Elizabeth Pitts of the home; a son, Andrew Preston Pitts of the home; and a sister, Yvonne Stephens of Hildebran.
The funeral will be conducted by the Revs. Ronald Arndt and Dr. Robert E. Settle at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Hildebran, where she was a member, Sunday school teacher and choir member for many years.
The body will be placed n the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will be at Catawba Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Richard Teague, Dean Bumgarner, Bob Eckard, Dale Abernathy, Van Nance, Bryson Clark, Butch Duckworth and Richard Jackson.
