Marie lost a valiant fight and left us July 3, 2017. Beloved mother of Thomas Allen Thompson, widow of Allan Enright (divorced) Thompson. She had a distinguished career as a nurse, living in Culpeper Virginia. Her parents of New Carrollton, Maryland survive her.

Ana Marie Thompson, 56, of Culpeper died Monday July 3, 2017 in Madison. She was born July 12, 1960 in Takoma Park, Maryland to Karl and Ana Schultz.
Marie loved to travel everywhere but was always drawn to the beach because she longed to be near the ocean. She took her son, Tommie on many adventures during her life, including a trip to Italy to see her niece, Amy, graduate high school. Another activity she enjoyed was gardening her vegetables and growing different plants and flowers. Marie was employed by Culpeper hospital as a registered nurse for over 28 years which she held many different positions and created many lasting friendships in that time. She had a giving heart and an unforgettable and distinct laugh.
Marie is survived by her parents, her aunt Sophia Aguilar and her son Thomas A. Thompson.
A Funeral service will be held Sunday July 9, 2017 at 2 pm. At Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The will be a reception to follow at the funeral home.
