Son of Leon Baite and Claudine Owens Nelson.
Brother of Gloria, Susanne, Elizabeth, Tina, Candy, Tammy and Richard.
Husband of Tammy Peardon Nelson.
Father of Sean, Sabrina, and Adam.
Grandfather of Sean and Lexie.

Steve was a wild and crazy guy. He had a great personality and a wonderful sense of humor. Steve Graduated from Greenville High School, Greenville, Georgia in 1982. He was a good friend. Even though I had not seen him in years, I did and still do think of him often.

your much more than a friend.
When good times become memories
they never really end!"



It is so sad when a young life is cut short. He is missed!

STEVE L. NELSON, 41, of Moreland died Sunday. August 15, 2004 at his home.

The funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday August 18, at the graveside in the Luthersville Cemetery, with Michael Loudermilk officiating.

Pallbearers were Cedrick Martin, Ronnie Sibley, Chris Chambers, Brian Nelson, Corey Loudermilk, and Casey Mc.Water.

Mr. Nelson was born May 8, 1963, in Douglasville, son of the late Leon Baite Nelson and the late Claudine Owens Nelson. He had lived in the Moreland and Luthersville area for 23 years and owned and operated R and R Parts and Service Company.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Peardon Nelson; 1 daughter, Sabrina Angelstar Nelson; 2 sons, Sean Lindsey Nelson and Adam Patrick Nelson, all of Moreland; 6 sisters, Gloria Chambers of LaGrange, Susanne Nelson of McDonough, Elizabeth Ogles of Dallas, Tina Bedingfield of Walnut Grove, Candy Loudermilk of Riverdale, and Tammy Stephens of Walnut Grove; 1 brother, Richard Nelson of Waco: 1 grandson, Sean Landon Nelson; and 15 nieces and nephews.

The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of arrangements.
