Virginia, the oldest of twelve siblings, was born on September 28, 1923 in Vaden, Arkansas to the late Jess E. Mobley and Nancy Hammonds. She went home to the Lord on July 2, 2017 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Virginia loved to spend time working and playing around in the yard. Her favorite was planting flowers. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, George Scaife and wife Vera; her daughter-in-law, Julia Baird Scaife; her grandchildren, John Scaife wife Lisa, Robert Jeffrey Scaife, James Miller, and Jeffrey Daniel Miller wife Tamara; her great grandchildren, Jaimee, Madison, Jeffrey,Jr., Macey, Jax, Jordan, Brian wife Ashly, Robbie, and Kelly; a great-great grandchild, Wyatt; two siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, George Eddie Scaife and Claude Acklen; her son, Robert Edward Scaife; a granddaughter, Stacy Scaife Duncan; along with numerous brothers and sisters.
