RALEIGH -- George Waylon Adams, 68, of Raleigh, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, December 15, 2002.

A native of Johnston County, Mr. Adams was the owner and operator of Adams Construction Company for the past 25 years, and a member of North Ridge Country Club.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18 in the chapel of BrownWynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh. Interment will follow at Cameron Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cameron, NC.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret H. Adams of Raleigh; son, Craig A. Adams and wife, Nancy, of Raleigh; daughters, Kimberly Adams Perez and husband, Octavio, of Cancun, Mexico; Amy Parker Fazzini and husband, James, of Raleigh; grandchildren, Harris Adams, Abby Adams, William Adams, and Edward Adams of Raleigh, Michael Fazzini of Raleigh, Anna Perez and Lauren Perez of Cancun, Mexico; brother, Johnny W. Adams and wife, Bonnie, of Benson, NC.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, Millbrook Road.
