William B. Laredo, was born on December 19, 1937.
William went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2017. 
William served with the United Stats Air Force, Air National Guard U.S., 150th Tactical Fighter Group during the Vietnam War from 1968 until 1969 and was honorably discharged. William retired from a 37 year career in the Air National Guard at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM with the ranking of Master Sergeant and appointment to First Sergeant.
William received numerous awards and honors including a Bronze Star, Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Presidential Unit Citation, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor, Small Arms Marksmanship Expert, Rifle, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross and a Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. 
William is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Mary Jo Laredo, son, Robert Laredo, son, Anthony Laredo and granddaughter, Brittney Jelly, daughter, Theresa Laredo-García and son-in-law, Phillip García and granddaughters, Victoria García, Monica Alaniz and Christina Landron, daughter, Susan Sedillo and son-in-law, Raymond Sedillo and grandchildren, Antoinette Duniphan, Stephanie Davalos, Jennifer Sedillo, Daniel Sedillo and Isaiah Sedillo, daughter, Vanessa Ownbey and son-in-law, Dr. Timothy Ownbey and grandchildren, Millicent Martin, Joshua Ownbey, Alexandria Ownbey and Jadon Ownbey, eight great-grandchildren, Mattasin, Drew, Cain, Alina, Kade, Avi, Emmett and Dane and two sisters, Barbara Centeno and Hope Bruno. 
William was preceded in death by his parents, Doroteo and Elena Laredo, brothers, Fred Laredo, Fernando Laredo and Richard Laredo and his sisters, Elvira Gutiérrez, Consuelo Lovato, Mary Griego, Helen Varela and Natalie López. 
His beaming smile, immense love for family and service to our country will never be forgotten.
Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will take place on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
