A gathering of family and friends of Kathy Sue Procelle, age 61, of Jasper, Texas will be 5~7pm Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper.

Kathy, died July 4, 2017 at her home in Jasper.

A native of Kirbyville and a lifelong resident of the Kirbyville and Jasper area, she liked oil painting, belly dancing and motor cycle riding. She loved crafting, recycling old things and traveling. She also loved working on the old home place that had been in the family for over 100 years. She was a Lab Technician at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Donnie Procelle of Jasper, her two sons, Richard Daemon Wilson and wife Jana of College Station, Texas andEric Micah Wilson of Port Neches, Texas, her daughter, Richelle Lea Hooks of Lake Charles, Louisiana, two step-daughters, Glendora Procelle of Silsbee, Texas and Tina Tidwell of Kirbyville, Texas, two brothers, David Tippett and wife Tammy of Beaumont, Texas and Raymond O. Tippett, Jr. and wife Joyce of Kirbyville, Texas, two sisters, Janice Smith and Cynthia Smith and husband Paul both of Kirbyville and four grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
