Russell V. "Sam" Noe, 71, of English, KY died Friday, September 24, 1993 at his residence. He was born April 26, 1922, the son of Daniel Andrew Noe and Bertha Wilson Oliver Noe who preceded him in death. He was a native of Henry County.

He was a WWII Veteran, a retired employee of Kawneer, Inc. and a member of the English Christian Church.

He was survived by his wife: Nadine Robbin Noe, English; two sons: Jerry and Russell Noe, both of Carrollton; two step-daughters: Dawnetta Duvall, Ghent and Jean Washburn, Ft. Wayne; three sisters: Sue Perkins, Carrollton, Velma Cooper, Russell Springs and Nell Frances Bircher of Orlando and eight grandchildren.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 26th at the English Christian Church. Burial will follow at the English Cemetery.
