Robert L. “Bob” Thompson, 77 , of Mt. Washington passed away July 6, 2017 at home with his family at his side.
Bob was an avid Harley rider and went on numerous road trips. His most enjoyable was a trip on Route 66 with his wife Judy.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Judy (Buechele) Thompson, and their daughter, Pamela A. Schmid (Mark).
He was preceded in death by their son, Terry Lee Thompson.
The funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, 9212 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40299. Visitation will be Friday 2-8 pm at Schmid Funeral Home in Mt. Washington.
Entombment will be in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington.
