Ronald Henry Allen, 62, of Mt. Hope passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from to 11 a.m. till noon on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Mt. Hope Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at noon with Chaplain Harold Fanning officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Methodist Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home assisting the family.
Mr. Allen worked as a pipe fitter for over 30 years and was a member of Local 760 for 15 years.
Survivors include his parents, Raymond and Elsie Mae Coan Allen of Mt. Hope; son, Jesse Allen (Jessica) of Hawaii; brother, Dale Allen of Sheffield; sisters, Patsy Kerby of Mt. Hope and Kim Proctor of Decatur; and five grandchildren, Olivia, Elijah, Joshua, Judah and Ezra Allen.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
