Nadine was the eldest child of Claude E. DeVilbiss and Edith Marie Vance. At the age of 13, she came to Whittier, California, where she grew up. In 1939, she married Harold E.(Jack) Hardgrave, and they had two sons. After Jack passed away in 1985, she married Roy Millar. She and Roy lived in Oceanside and enjoyed many years together. After she died in 2002, I had her cremated remains buried with her mother, in the same plot at Rose Hills Memorial Park, in Whittier, California.
