HICKS, John L., 83, resident of Prattville, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Prattville Memorial Chapel with Pastor Nick Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at Prattville Memorial on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Mr. Hicks was preceded in death by his parents, T.J. and Louise Hicks; four brothers; and three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Hicks; his son, Mike Hicks (Beverly); three daughters, Sherri Brooks (George), Donna Bell (Dwight), Becki Owens (Brad); 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members and friends.
