Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Morrison, 85, of Monroe, will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017, at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home-Winnsboro, LA, with Rev. David Fuqua officiating. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Helen was born on January 21, 1932 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away on July 4, 2017, in Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Brownie and Nannie Welch; husband, Gay Tate Morrison; five brothers; one sister; two sons, Jerry Morrison and Donnie Morrison; one daughter, Judy Easter; and companion, William Brown.
Survivors left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sharon Nguyen and husband Mann of Monroe, LA and Betty Richmond and husband Tim of Gilbert, LA; and son, Ronald Morrison and wife Jinger of Harrisonburg, LA. She is also survived by numerous grand and great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Tillery, Wayne Morrison, Timothy Nguyen, Luis Olivares, Jonathan Morrison, and Michael Temple.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
