STODDART, Harold Myron - 68, of Inglisville, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Inglisville, he was a son of the late Lindsay and Elizabeth (Burns) Stoddart. Harold retired in 1986 from the construction industry. He loved hunting, fishing, bingo and enjoyed his scrap metal "junk" business. His last wish was to be baptized and his baptism was held on January 19, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, the former Leona Whynot; daughters, Donna (Roger) Durling, Inglisville; Dale Whynot, Mount Hanley; Doreen (Ivan) Veinot, Inglisville; Beverley (Richard) Deveau, Greenwood; sons, Bruce (Ivy) Stoddart, Queen Charlotte Islands, B.C.; Michael (Melanie) Stoddart, Brickton; sisters, Dorothy Veinot, Canning; Alice (Dennis) Dahr, New Minas; Carolyn King, Clarence; half-sister, Stella Brewer, Halifax; brothers, Ronald (Wilma) Stoddart, South Williamston; James (Clarice) Stoddart, Greenwood; Wayne Stoddart, Inglisville; half-brother, Leslie Beals, Bridgetown; 13 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great- grandchildren and will be sadly missed by his dog "Pebbles". Besides his parents, he was predeceased by twin sons in infancy; grandsons, Tyler and Ryan Veinot; sister, Myrna Penny; half-sisters, Isabel O'Neil, Laura Corkum, Viola Walker; brother, Raymond Stoddart; half-brother, Floyd Beals and son-in-law, Frank Whynot. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448, where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 23, Padre Earle Leslie officiating. Interment will be in Springfield Cemetery.
