Freddy M. Henderson, 83, of 226 N. Residence, died Friday morning at his home after a lengthy illness. Services will be announced later by Carlsons Funeral Home.

Fred M. Henderson, 83, 226 N. Residence died Friday morning at his home after a lengthy illness. Services are scheduled for Monday at 11 a.m. at the Carlsons Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawns Cemetery.

Mr. Henderson was born February 20, 1903 at Lead Mine, Missouri, the son of John T. and Lillie Virginia Barnhart Henderson. He had lived in El Dorado since 1944 moving here from Louisburg, Mo. He was a retired oil field technician working for the Lanes Wells Oil Company until his retirement in 1963. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He married Lula Mae Goodin on May 9, 1929 at Shamrock, Okla.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons, Bill, Stockton, Mo., Bob, Wichita, Fred A. "Pete", El Dorado; two brothers, J. R. Henderson, Buffalo, Mo., Eddy Henderson, Tulsa, Okla.; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, four brothers and one sister.

Memorials in his memory for the First Baptist Church Deacon's Fund may be left at the church or at Carlson's Funeral Home where friends may call.

Services for Fred M. Henderson, 83, of 226 N. Residence, were held Monday afternoon at Carlson's Colonial Chapel. Burial followed the services in Sunset Lawns Cemetery. He died Friday, May 2, 1986.

He was born Feb. 20, 1903 at Lead Mine, Mo., the son of John Thomas and Lillie Virginia Barnhart. He was an oil field technician and had retired in 1963. He had lived in El Dorado since 1944, moving here from Louisburg, Mo. In the 1970's he moved to El Dorado Springs, Mo., returned to El Dorado in 1982. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in El Dorado.

On May 9, 1929, he married Lula Mae Goodin at Shamrock, Okla.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons, Bill Henderson of Stockton, Mo., Bob Henderson of Wichita, and Fred A. "Pete" Henderson of El Dorado; three daughters, Connie Nichols of Augusta, Nelda McClure of Latham and Linda Davis of El Dorado; two brothers J. R. Henderson of Buffalo, Mo. and Eddy Henderson of Tulsa, Okla.; and 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter; four brothers; and one sister.

The Rev. Randy Gauger, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated at the services. Mrs. Jean Plummer, at the organ, played the prelude and the postlude. Jim Spon sang "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" and "Each Step I Take".

Casket bearers were Ed Henderson, Darryl Henderson, Scott Henderson, Steve McClure, John Mikel, Tommy Henderson, Virgil (Ray) McClure, Todd McClure, Peter Wayne Henderson and Doug Elliott.
