Ralph W. Abend, age 91, of Deckerville, passed away Saturday July 8, 2017 in his home.
He was born March 29, 1926 in Palms, the son of the late William and Della (Harnisch) Abend.
Ralph grew up in the Palms area and attended the Snay Country School. He was a lifelong area farmer.
On September 24, 1949 he married Miss. Eleanora Cass in Palms.
Ralph is survived by his wife Eleanora of Deckerville; two daughters, Eleanor Ann (John) Lewis of Algonac, and Barbara (Larrey) Eberts of Big Rapids; and daughter-in-law Irene Abend of Deckerville; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one brother Harvey Abend of Palms, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to honor the life of Ralph Abend will be 11:00 AM., Tuesday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday and 10:00 AM until the time of services on Tuesday.
