BUSHNELL - Kenneth "Lonnie" Abernathy, 47, of Bushnell died Thursday at 1:25 a.m. at the Americana Nursing Center, Macomb.
He was born March 24, 1933, at Prairie City.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Ona Abernathy, Bushnell; six brothers, Rex of LaHarpe, Richard of Rushville, Wayne of Galva, Teddy of Monmouth, Jack of Good Hope and Bernard of Sullivan, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Thompson of Carmen and Mrs. Vivian Cale of Colchester.
He attended Bushnell schools, was a member of the Bushnell Moose Lodge, social member of the Bushnell VFW and was employed as a janitor by the Lauhoff Grain Co., Bushnell.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Martin Hollis Funeral Home, Bushnell, Rev. Charles Pyle officiating. Burial will be in Prairie City Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday before the funeral at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established.
