Born Anton Zagradišnik in Nova Štifta, Gornji Grad, Slovenia. Emigrated to the United States in 1906. Despite occasionally using the surname Gradishnick, it was not a legal surname. His name was legally changed to Anton Grady upon naturalization on 13 Apr 1929. Son of Anton Zagradišnik and Ana Peveč, brother of Rudolph John Grady (20160572) and Antonia Kochevar (5230818).
