Mr. Klinestiver was found dead Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock aged 68 years. He had been ill three years.
A long record of civic usefulness was achieved by Mr. Klinestiver in his 34 years residence at Sheffield. He was a former justice of the peace and had served on the school board of which he was secretary, for seventeen years.
His widow and the following children survive Mrs. R.D. Whitehill and Frank Klinestiver of Warren; Mrs. Edgar Healy of Bradford; Lawrence of Ralph Klinestiver of Cleveland, Ohio; Miss Florence Klinestiver of Imperial Pa., and H.P. Klinestiver of Lumberton, British Columbia, Canada.
In addition, Mr. Klinestiver, editor of the Forest Republican at Tionesta; Jake Klinestiver of Hickory, Pa.; George K. Klinestiver of Kellettville, Pa.; Mrs. S.H. Secor, of Sheffield and Miss Florence Klinestiver of Washington, D.C.
Mr. Klinestiver was born on April 24, 1860, at Beaver Valley, Forest county".

In reality according to William Klinestiver death certificate, he committed suicide by a gun shot to the stomach. Prior to his death he had stomach issue that prevent him from running for public office or work. I believe his suicide was a result of this issue.
