DAVID FRANKLIN NEEDY, JR., 74, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Monday, July 10, 2017, at his home. Born Monday, July 13, 1942 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late David Franklin Needy,Sr. and the late Ethel Genevieve (Ambrose) Needy, he was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Lee Needy in 2012.

David was the owner and operator of Needy's Furniture in Hagerstown from 1986 until his retirement in 2006. He was a former member of Grace Brethren Church. David loved to fish, and really enjoyed it during his retirement years.

He is survived by his two daughters, Kathy Jo Fogle and Karen Ann Waltz; sons, Kevin Wayne Needy and Karl Lee Needy; sister, Dorothy Elizabeth Feigley; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Lee Needy.

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport. Arrangements by the Douglas Fiery Funeral Home.
