Norris "Pops" Lewis, 82 of Junction City passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado.
Mr. Lewis was born July 5, 1933 in Tubal, AR in Union County to the union of Oscar Lewis and Ruby Bailey Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, two sisters, and one granddaughter.
Mr. Lewis was retired from Great Lakes, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Junction City, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. He loved being at the hunting camp and was an avid turkey and deer hunter.
Survivors include his Godly wife of 48 years; Ann Lewis of Junction City, loving father of three sons; Randy Lewis and wife Charlotte of Homer, LA, Mark Lewis and wife Joy of Camden, and Terry Wilson and wife Judy of Hot Springs, two daughters; Tonda Smith and husband Elvis of Fordyce and Treva Cates and husband Ross of Junction City. Proud grandfather of Shana, Eric, Jeffery, Kristy, Mason, Dee, Kevin, Brice, Ashley, Cole, Blake, Brooke, Kaitlyn, Ethan, and Jadeann, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 1, 2015, 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Junction City.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Boatright officiating. Interment will be in the Roselawn Cemetery in Junction City under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Junction City, AR.
