He graduated from North High School and proudly served during Vietnam as a Sargent in the Marines. After 20 years of service, Ed retired from Fluid Tech as General Manger. He was a member of the American Legion in Newburgh, VFW in Boonville, and F.A.R.T.S ("Friends are Rare Treats") paintball club, where he gained many lifelong friends. He attended Living Hope Church in Boonville. Ed was an avid hunter and traveled all over for the love of the sport.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie (Davis) Baumgartner; children, great-grandchildren, beloved dog, Buddy;
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
