Born in Tennessee in 1860 and moved to California between 1880 and 1884. Married Leora Rowena Tiffany in 1892 in Fresno where they had about twelve children with nine living to adulthood. Pleasant and Leora divorced in the 1920's. He mostly farmed although he did other work at times. While he died in Fresno, his burial location has not been found.
