Cora E. Salsgiver-Bell, 85, of Kittanning died Thursday (Nov. 11, 2004) at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin.

She was born Jan. 11, 1919, in Shiloh, S.C.

She was a member of Woodward Avenue First Church of God in Kittanning and the Women of the Church of God, and she taught Sunday school for many years.

Survivors include two sons, C. William "Bill" (Patricia) Salsgiver of Bethel and Larry (Patricia) Salsgiver of West Franklin; a daughter, Barbara (William) Ando of Young Township; and two sisters, Mary (Roy Woods) Mellor-Woods of North Charleston, S.C., and Ann (Charles) Lauder of Johns Island, S.C.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, Ben (Melanie) Salsgiver and Clint Salsgiver, Donald P. (Michele) Fox, John C. Ando, Christopher W. (Wendy) Salsgiver and Jill D. (Jerry) Bish; seven great-grandchildren, Nathan, Joshua and Jeremy Fox, Brianna and Brandon Bish and Melissa and Alia Oberst; and one great-greatgrandson, Nicholas Fox,

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles W. Salsgiver Sr., in 1990; her second husband, George V. Bell, in 1999; her parents, Wallace Waddell and Virginia McElveen Player; a brother, Wallace Player; and a sister, Jacquelyn Player Smith.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 tonight and noon to 1, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at BAUER FUNERAL HOME, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. Monday until funeral ceremonies at 11 a.m. in Woodward Avenue First Church of God. Officiating will be the Rev. Larry Messick. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, East Franklin.
