Rita M. Stav, 79, of 316 Broadway Ave., Wausau, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1998, at Colonial Manor Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Wausau.
Rita was born Feb. 5, 1919, in Chippewa Falls, to the late Antone and Minnie Baldeschwiler. She married David A. Stav on Oct. 18, 1941, in Mendota, Ill. He died Oct. 23, 1978.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy (George) River, Las Vegas, Nev., and Terry (Jim) Allen, Wausau; two grandchildren, John (Libby) Wendorf, Wilmington, Del., and Christine (Robert) Lumber, Illinois; and one brother, Alfred (Dorothy) Baldeschwiler, Chippewa Falls. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, at the Church of the Resurrection, 325 Grand Ave., Wausau. Father Steve Gross will officiate. Entombment will be in the Holy Angels Mausoleum at St. Michael's Cemetery, Wausau. Brainard Funeral Home, Wausau, assisted the family with arrangements.
