Dorothy M. Bell, 81, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, May 29, 2009 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. She was born in Delaware on May 14, 1928 and was a daughter of Elmer J. and Anna King.

A Mrs. Bell attended schools in Delaware. She was a homemaker. She was married to Phillip F. Bell and he passed away on July 12, 1983. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and picking strawberries. She attended Souls Harbor Church of God.

A She is survived by three sons Richard E. King and wife Terry, Albert "Jim" King and wife Monica and Franklin F. Bell and wife Connie all of Cambridge and a daughter Pamela M. Austin and husband David of Seaford, DE, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a step grandchild, five sisters and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Bell is preceded in death by a grandson Albert J. King, Jr., a great grandson Dylan L. Paul and two brothers.

A A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. J. Edward King officiating.
