Addie Louise Reese, 78, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. She was born on August 17, 1938 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Theodore A. and Robbie (Harris) Hutson. Her early school years were spent at Sequoyah Elementary School in Muskogee County then attended Oktaha Public Schools where she graduated in 1956. Following graduation, Addie was a stay at home mom and took great joy in raising her family. In her later years, Addie worked as a secretary for Wilson's Answering Service for 17 years. She also worked for four years at the Red Cross as a secretary. Addie was baptized at Community Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She adored her great-grandchildren and treasured her life-long friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Robbie Hutson; son-in-law, Robert "Bobby" Kirk; and brother-in-law, Bearl Davis. A celebration of Addie's life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Brother James Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Brushy Mountain Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
