Chris was born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 10, 1982. A young prodigy, he joined Mensa at age 10. He played flute in the Shades Valley High School Marching Band, and graduated Jubilee Academy with honours. As a polymathic computer programmer, Chris participated in the State ACTE Technology Fair for several years, winning numerous awards and placing Best in Fair in 1998 for his outstanding programming skills. He helped develop multiple online games including the gaming engine for Quake4 for ID software. Chris became a lead programmer in the global Open Source community, being the first programmer to provide Root access to Droid smart phones. He enjoyed hunting fossils with the Birmingham Paleontological Society, and was a founding member of the Red Mountain Makers in which he was very active. He provided consulting for numerous projects; software, hardware, and artwork.
