She was married to Patrick Ludden on Nov. 5, 1896 at Lock Haven by Rev. Francis P. McCarthy.

Ex Policeman Patrick Ludden has forsaken the woes of bachelorhood. Thursday he took unto himself in the person of Miss Helen Kelley. The Rev. Father MaCarthy performed the ceremony at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in the presence of the friends and relatives of the couple. The bride was attended ty Miss Ellen Crowley and the grooms best man was Mr. Patrick Levdon? After the interesting event was over a wedding repast was served at the residence of the grooms sister Mrs. Blake on Jones street. On the departure of the B.E.V train Mr. and Mrs. Ludden escaped away on ? ? visit trip? Mr. Ludden? As one of the ? made many friends all of whom tender hearty congratulations to him and his new wife.
Ellen died on Feb. 8, 1949 at Lock Haven, PA. She was 76 years old and widowed. Ellen was buried in the St. Mary's Cemetery on Feb. 10th.
