Carolyn Joann "Granny" Doyle, 75, of Clymer, PA, formerly of Wadesville, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, in Johnstown, PA.

Carolyn was born May 16, 1942 in Parkersburg, WV to Clayton and Juanita {Sams} Allman.

She married Richard "Bud" Doyle on September 16, 1961.

Carolyn retired from the Board of Education after 25 years of service. She was a member of Ingold Church of Christ. Carolyn enjoyed camping, crocheting, gun bashes and shopping. She loved spending time with her great grandsons.

Carolyn will be deeply missed by her husband, Bud, of 55 years; son, two daughters, Rebecca (Ed) Vennard of Marion Center, PA, Rhonda (Jerry) Raybuck of Clymer, PA; grandchildren Rick Vennard, Valerie (Eric) Freeman , Josh (Nicole) Raybuck and Brandon Frazier; great-grandchildren Eric Freeman Jr. and Dylan Levi Freeman; brother, David (Diane) Allman of Vienna; sisters Naomia (Arther)Yost of Crosslanes and Ginny (Mike) Gorrell of Little Hocking.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jennifer J. Doyle, son Boley, granddaughter Hollyann Raybuck.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Evangelist Randy Van Fossen officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
