Albert Harrington enlisted as a Private in Company E of the Reorganized Fourth Michigan Infantry on August 27, 1864, at Sylvan, Michigan, for 3 years of service, at age 16. He was mustered into Federal service on August 31, 1864. Albert mustered out on May 26, 1866, at Houston, Texas.
