Obituary for Annie Belle (Knowles) Smith
MRS. ANNIE SMITH
LISBON - Mrs. Annie Belle Smith, 76, of Lisbon R.D. 3, died at her home Tuesday morning at 10:45 after an illness of a year.
She was born in East Liverpool May 27, 1879, a daughter of Frank and Ursula Bennett Knowles. Survivors include her husband, Demoine Smith, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Daisy Rutecki, Mrs. Lelia Dailey and Mrs. Gladys Griggs, all of Lisbon, and Mrs. Isodene Paisley of Palm Springs, Calif.; three sons, Kelly Smith of Chester, Donald Smith of Upper Sandusky and Lucian Smith of Lisbon; three sisters, Mrs. Alberta Dawley, Mrs. Ferne Boggess and Mrs. Florence Walsh, all of California; 32 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 at the Longs Run Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Arthur Walter. Burial will be in Longs Run Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday after 3 p.m. at the Henry Funeral Home.
