PORTLAND, Ind.--Irma J. Myers, 80, former resident of 1362 Meadow Lane, died Sunday at the Chalet Village, Berne, after a long illness.
Mrs. Myers was born in Jay County and was a graduate of Poling High School. She was a member of the Sardinia Congregational Christian Church for more than 35 years and later was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bob Myers, Bryant, and Bill Myers, Charlotte, N.C.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Kyle Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Pennville IOOF Cemetery. Calling will be 2-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
