ATKINS, Jesse Lee, departed this earth on Sunday, September 17, 2006. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at 7:00 pm, from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend Gerald Wood officiating. Jesse was born on March 3, 1981 in Elkins, WV, to Nancy L. Atkins and James L. Atkins. He moved to Alabama with his family in 1986. He graduated from Chapman Christian Academy in May, 1999. He was currently employed with Crosby Electric Company. He leaves behind a loving and devoted mother, Nancy Atkins; father, James Atkins; three brothers, James Andrew "Andy" (Shelly) Atkins, Michael Anthony "Tony" (Christen) Atkins and James "Joseph" (Pam) Atkins; two grandmothers, Dolores D. Hautz and Dafna "Polly" Atkins; a nephew, Jamie Atkins; a niece, Sydney Atkins, whom he adored; a special friend, Amanda Atkins, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Jesse touched the hearts of many people during his short stay in this world. He was kind and loving and very generous - always ready to help someone in need. Jesse will be dearly missed.
