Richard L. Morano, age 77, of Fairport Harbor, passed away July 14, 2017 at Hospice House in Cleveland.
He was born April 16, 1940 in Cleveland.
Mr. Morano enjoyed vacationing to Captiva Island, FL, golfing, listening to Jimmy Buffett, his bird – Rocky, watching the Cleveland Browns and Indians and he loved pasta. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his son Richard F.(Helen) Morano; daughter Arleen R. (Mike) Swartout and son Michael A. Morano grandchildren Jacob and Ian Bailey and Sonya Morano; great grandchild, Chloe Bailey; sister Darlene Kuhar; brothers, Edward (Judy) Morano and Thomas Morano and other loving family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Norma; parents Charles and Rose Morano; brother Charles Morano; brother in law Ray Kuhar; sister in law Patricia Morano; nephews Joseph Kuhar and David Morano and niece Patty Morano.
A graveside service will be held 2 pm Thursday July 27, 2017 at All Souls Cemetery, 10366 Chardon Rd., Chardon, OH 44024. Section 26C.
Following the service at the cemetery, the family will have a luncheon in the Reception Center on the Brunner Campus, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110; online at www.hospicewr.org.
