MRS. MARY BRIGNER
Piketon, Ohio - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Delphia Brigner, 69 year old Pike County native, are to be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Howe Funeral Home. She died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Portsmouth General Hospital, where she had been a patient since Tuesday.
Born in Pike County Jan. 11, 1896, she was a daughter of Christopher and Sarah Ellen Carson Blakeman. She was residing in Piketon.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clay Ramsey and Mrs. P. O. Amlin of Piketon; two brothers, Frank and John of Chillicothe, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Rev. James Carson will conduct services and burial will be in Piketon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Mary Delphia Brigner, 69, well known Piketon resident died at 10 A.M. Saturday morning at Portsmouth General Hospital where she had been admitted as a patient, Tuesday, March 22. Born in Pike County, the daughter of Christopher and Sarah Ellen Carson Blakeman. Her husband Jacob Brigner died about a year ago.
Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Clay Ramey, Mrs. P. D. Amling of Piketon, thirteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren: two brothers: Frank and Jacob Blakeman, both of Chillicothe.
Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Tuesday at the Howe and Company Funeral Home, with Rev. James Carson officiating. Burial followed in Mound Cemetery under the direction of Howe Funeral Home.
