She was a member of the Arrington Street Cumberland Presbyterian church, and had taken an active interest in religious work until her illness intervened. Her greatest sources of happiness were her home and her church, and in both she was greatly endeared to those about her.
Mrs. Marshall is survived by her husband Samuel G. Marshall and her mother Sarah. She is also survived by her daughters Mrs. C.N. Boone of Louisville, KY, Miss Helen Marshall, Mrs. M.H. Stephens and Mrs. T. Gordon King of Nashville; sisters Mrs. George Hunter, Mrs. E.B. Cole, Mrs. J.B. Bracey, Mrs. Hugh Dozier and Mrs. J.L. Dillard; brothers J.A. and J. Hume Marshall. Her brothers are widely known grocers of East Nashville.
