Albert Eugene "Gene" Lionberger age 90, of Springfield, Missouri passed away Friday, July 21st, 2017 at Cox Medical Center South.
Gene was born May 31, 1927 in Humboldt, Nebraska to Albert and Sara (Tinkler) Lionberger. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Gene retired from Pitney-Bowes as a Service Technician. Gene enjoyed woodworking.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Lionberger and Keith Lionberger and wife Jill; five grandchildren, Emily, Lucas, Shelby, Joey, and Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Fay Lionberger; his parents; six sisters; and one brother.
Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
