ALBERT DENNIS ALLEN
Services Will Be Today for Retired Mechanic
Service for Albert Dennis Allen, retired automotive mechanic, will be graveside at Forest Hill Cemetery at 10 a.m. today.
Mr. Allen died at the Monroe Hotel Sunday night after a long illness. He was 76.
He made his home at 220 McLamore, but was spending the night with his brother, Gordon P. Allen, hotel manager.
Born near Nashville, he had lived in Memphis most of his life. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and a Baptist.
He had been shop foreman for an early auto dealer in Memphis. He retired several years ago.
H also leaves a step-daughter, Mrs. C.W. Bradley of 1082 Mosby Road, three sisters, Mrs. J. O. Marshall of 534 East Parkway North, Miss Georgia Allen of Memphis and Mrs. Frank H. Nelson Sr. of Atlanta.
Memphis Funeral Home has charge.
