Wife's Death Follows That of Husband -
Seventeen hours after her husband had succumbed to accidental gas fumes, Mrs. Jeppe H. Skow, 87, died early this morning at a local hospital, victim of the same tragedy.
The Skows were found unconscious in bed at their home, 2707 North Sixty-fifth street.
Police said that Skow rose to light the burners on an oven of the gas stove in the kitchen to keep the house warm. He also put on water to heat, then went back to bed. Apparently he fell asleep and the water boiled over, extinguishing the flame.
The couple was found by a milkman at 8 a.m. yesterday, at which time Mrs. Skow was revived and taken to the hospital.
A double funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Kremer funeral home, with burial at Fort Calhoun.
