Descendant of Samuel Slader (1732-1790)
Mark Slader died at age 81 on March 6, 1962 at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Survivors included his wife, Verna; two sons: Norman Slader of Omaha and Paul Slader of Fort Calhoun; one daughter, Mrs. Stanley Ohrt of Fort Calhoun and one brother, Guy Slader of Fort Calhoun. Services were held at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Arrangements were by the Sievers Funeral Home.
