Norman E. Slader was born March 26, 1914 in Washington County, Nebraska. He died at age 92 on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a member of Mount View Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Slader and sister Dorothy Ohrt. Survivors included his wife of 64 years, Arlene Kruse Slader of Omaha, son and daughter-in-law, of Seattle, Washington; daughter and son-in-law of Omaha; Five grandchildren of Seattle, Washington; Nagoya, Japan; Kansas City, Kansas and Washington Courthouse, Ohio and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held at Mount View Presbyterian Church in Omaha, Nebraska. Interment was private. Remembrances were suggested to the Mount View Presbyterian Church and the Nebraska Children’s Home. Arrangements were by Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home of Fort Calhoun, Nebraska.
