Pauline was a 1967 graduate of Nativity BVM High School, past member of The Berks County Writers Group, Schuylkill County Writers Group, Schuylkill County Allied Artist, and past volunteer at Schuylkill County Historical Society. She was the former owner of the "Gift Basket Station."

Her hobbies included researching and collecting dolls, collecting and gifting Hallmark Ornaments, reading, gardening and antiquing. She believed in and loved God and knew that someday she would "go home" to be with God. She took pride in her garden, which she cared for with great detail. One of her pride and joys was a grape vine that she had planted many years ago.

Also surviving are a sister, Theresa Rushannon; brothers, Michael Janesco and John Zimmerman; sister-in-law, Theresa Gallo; a niece and goddaughter, Kathleen Rushannon Yourey. She was a beloved friend of many, especially Laura Matrisciano.

A religious funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, with the Rev. Leo Maletz officiating. All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation to join the family to honor her life and pay their respects from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hillside. It was Pauline's wish that anyone interested could make a donation in her name to the Schuylkill County Historical Society. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, is entrusted with the arrangements.
