Blanche and her husband Victor Kahn were a stage team known as Kahn and Boone. Victor was a comedian and Blanche a lyric soprano. She was an actress as well, and used the stage names of Blanche Adams and Blanche Boone. She appeared in the George White Scandals of 1929, and toured with the Keith and Proctor Circuits. Sister of Nettia Newman.

First husband may have been J.C. Melson.
